How To Be A Happy Person

Happy Person

I am on my third day of May’s daily post. While sitting in front of my laptop and thinking about what to write. I do have a list of writing notes during May that ready to post. Yet, I feel like I wanted to write something else. Then I remembered a couple of weeks ago, someone sent this to me. I was so touched so I want to share it with you all.

Road to be a Happy Person

You may have flaws, feel uneasy, and sometimes live unpeacefully, but don’t forget that your life is the biggest project in the world. You are the only able to keep it from degenerating. Many people need you, admire you, and love you.

I want to tell you that being happy does not mean having a sky without a storm, or a path without disaster, or working without feeling tired or a relationship without disappointment. To be happy is to find the strength to forgive, to look for hope in a struggle, to find security in times of fear, to find love in times of strife.

Being happy saves not only a smile but also cultivates sadness.

It’s not only remembering glory but also learning from failure. It’s not only rejoicing because of receiving a standing ovation, but also rejoicing even though it is not famous. Recognizing that life is valuable despite many challenges, misunderstandings, and times of crisis is also a part of being happy. For it ain’t destiny, it is inevitable, but a victory for those who can meet it by being themselves.

Though many problems around, yet being happy means stopping seeing yourself as a victim of various issues, but instead being a doer in history itself. You will be crossing the wilderness that is outside of us, but more than that, you will be able to find a spring in your inner dryness.

Being happy is giving thanks every morning for the miracles of life, even for the simple things.

In a pure state of being happy is not afraid of our feelings. But how to carry ourselves. To bear it bravely when we are rejected. To have a good sense when criticized, even though the criticism is unfair. By kissing children, caring for parents, creating beautiful moments with friends, even though they hurt us.

Letting the free, comfortable, and simple life of a child that is within us; have the maturity to confess, “I’m wrong,” & dare to say, “I’m sorry”… that’s also being happy. Thus your life becomes a garden full of opportunities to be satisfied.

You will understand that happiness does not mean having a perfect life.

It’s about using tears to tolerance, using the loss to further strengthen patience, failure to carve out peace of mind, suffering to be the foundation of pleasure, difficulty to open the window of intelligence.

In your spring, be a joy lover. In your winter, be a friend of wisdom. When you make a mistake, start again from the beginning. Thus you will be more enthusiastic about running life.

Don’t give up. Don’t stop loving the people you love. Don’t give up on being happy because life is a beautiful show, and you are a wonderful person!
