Smoked Pork Belly in Amsterdam

How do y’all doing these days during the stay at home? I hope y’all doing great. Okay, let’s stop the crap, LOL. I know it’s been hard days. It’s rarely easy. You barely breathe, I know.

As today, we have lost the count of our travel plans that need to cancel. Indonesia is still doing The Large-Scale Social Restriction, but I can’t figure everything out as many people still going out ignore the social restriction.

I tried my best to support what the government told us to do. While at home, I realized I have much time to do what I have left behind. We’re still in my May’s Daily Post. There are posts I prepared, but I don’t feel to post it now, or I just lazy to finalize the writing.

What do you think when you are at home? As for me, food is most of the topic. I’ll explain tomorrow why. Today I wanted to share one meal I tasted when I was in Amsterdam.

I was intended to find a place to visit while in Amsterdam. Following what google said, I walked almost 4 km to find the place but to find it was the wrong location. Fortunately, it was a Sunday Market located exactly in what google led me to.

So try to embrace the wrong place by enjoying what is offered. I still have some time before the schedule I have to attend that day. There was a lot of food offer and so many other stuff to buy. My eyes locked in the sign called “Pork Belly.” I definitely missing Korean Samgyeopsal, so why not try this Amsterdam Smoked Pork Belly.

It wasn’t cheaper, I told you that. But once a while, I thought, why not give myself a reward, especially after walking almost 4 km (trust me, it’s not an excuse). The pork isn’t like what I was expecting, but it’s still delicious. Everything is delicious if you’re hungry, right!

I enjoy walking around, language immersion in different places, have a cup of coffee at some unfamiliar coffee shop, embrace the history or art in many different museums. I love coming across people and blending with new culture. I like having conversations with new people, blogging the stories and inspire people.
