Wise Owl Hostels Tokyo

Wise Owl Hostels Tokyo
Another topic is born while I am thinking about what to share today. There is no doubt that I live a nomadic life for the last five years. Though I always returned to Indonesia for a couple of days or a week, I indeed spent most of my time in a hostel or guesthouse (whatever you like to call it), so here’s another category I added call Lodging. I will share about the places, mostly hostel, of course, where I stayed during my journey. Let’s start with Wise Owl Hostel in Tokyo.

Welcome to Wise Owl Hostels Tokyo

I arrived at the station nearby without knowing that it was so close to the station, I ended going around and found myself stupid when I noticed their signboard just across the street and realized it was just next to the exit I arrived earlier. Their location is perfect, in the intersection right next to the JR Lines. OMG, it was just less than a minute walk, or can you even call it a walk?

There is Family Mart across the building where you can find what you need for snacking or anything fresh. Restaurants were here and there to fill your hunger. Not forget to mention it was just 15 minutes walking to the Ginza shopping area, you definitely don’t need to ride the train, take some exercise while enjoying the neighborhood. It located only one station away from the Tsukiji market (if I’m not wrong) where is a place you should visit while you are in Tokyo. The staffs were okay; they were kind, especially the owl.

What is inside the hostels

Each floor has its bathroom with a fascinating luggage area. I was confused about why they named it luggage area when it was only a table laid in front of the shower then I found something under it (Go check it yourself). The toilet separates from the bathroom, which is nice.

The bed is comfortable; the stairs to the upper bed beneficial for those who hate to climb the upper bed. There is a slipper shelf hidden in the stairs. They have a lounge room, but I don’t really like it for some reason (I will tell you in the next section). If you are lazy to go around looking for food, they also have a restaurant and bars for you to enjoy. With a simple breakfast in the corner that turned like a cafe (or is it a cafe?), I guess I wrote a lot. Overall, everything was excellent as my whole week of Tokyo spent pleasantly with Wise Owl.

a flaw, but I bear with it

As a nomadic person, I have to work with laptops everywhere, and of course, I need wifi to support my work. After a long haul, I was looking forward to work in the comfy bed of Wise Owl and found the internet was suck at the moment. So I asked the staff about it, but they couldn’t do anything helpful and told me to move to the lounge. I wished that it would help nothing working yet, so finally, I move to the first floor, sitting in front of reception with the wind of winter and tried to do some job but I failed because it was so cold. I found the internet was just not right (or maybe only for me).

Gosh

I am a language trainer based in Jakarta, Indonesia. I love traveling, like a lot. I enjoy walking around, language immersion in different places, have a cup of coffee at some unfamiliar coffee shop, embrace the history or art in many different museums. I love coming across people and blending with new culture. I like having conversations with new people, blogging the stories and inspire people.
