An Open Thank You Letter For Those Precious People

Sometimes in life to remains strong all we need to do is to not complain or ask questions about why things happened but just simply to be grateful for saying thank you.

I’ve been spending more than a half-year keep asking myself “what was that? Why it happened to me?” and many other thoughts that passed through my mind. And I found out that I’ve been wasted my time by doing those things. So I decided to just be grateful and thank you for all those circumstances. Guess what? When I did it, It just felt so light.

An Open Thank You Letter For Those Precious People

So today, I wanted to write a thank you note for persons or things that I probably missed to show my grateful because maybe I was too busy taking care of my feelings (And yes, I knew that’s selfish, I’m sorry). But anyway, it’s rather late than not at all, right?

Thank you to bad experiences, without you there is no me now. You are the one who made me now, strong and mature (I guess). For me, you are not only bad experiences but valuable experiences in the path that I choose.

Thank you to good experiences, you made my life even better because you are the one who made me still believe that there is still a good side in everything.

Thank you to my parents, who never doubt whatever decision I made. Even I knew that both of you really want to know, but instead of asking, you just keep trusting and never asking any questions. No matter what we went through, no matter how much we argue, because I know, in the end, you’ll always be there.

Thank you, my spiritual father. Dad, you are the best, thank you for always trusting me even you knew that I made the worst mistakes ever. Thank you for always be there and standing by my side when no one there.

Thank you to my spiritual mother. You always be my role model. You show me how to value relationship over the ego. Dad and you are the best I ever have.

Thank you, my “children”. You guys know how bad I was but you all still believing in me. You guys are rock!

Thank you Lauryn Hill, Joss Stone, Kelly Clarkson, TLC, John Legend, John Mayer, Jason Mraz, Bruno Mars, Lighthouse Family, Nina Samone, Yanni, Ami Grant, Bob Acri, Leessang, Creedence Clearwater Revival, George Huff, Jason Castro, Kim Tae Woo, Nicole C. Mullen, Pandji, Sohyang, Seo In Guk, And many more. Your songs and voices help me a lot through every bad and good experience.

Thank you, Al Jarreau, Toby Mac, Michael W. Smith, Ruth Sahanaya, Lenny LeBlanc. Your Christmas album made my insomnias’ night become a beautiful night. It definitely brings the Christmas all through the year.

Thank you for all my unexpected friends and acquaintances. We meet in nowhere but it feels like we know for a long time. The one who always reads my writing and check it out, the one who always read and just read, the one who read and give feedback in private chat, the one who in coincidence gave me the inspiration to write. Sometimes words are just hard to say, but it doesn’t mean that y’all didn’t mean anything to me. You more than what you think you are.

Thank you to the little attractive curly girl, AL, I love you so much. Thank you for helping me heal myself. You succeeded in making me exercise every day by running over you, made me learn to see the world through a Childs’ eyes and hear it through the child’s ears. Your toddler world made me see life better and brighter when the very simple things could make you laugh until you got a stomach ache, and a very simple smile could make your crying face changed so easily. You make the forgiveness seem very easy to do. I would never forget you. One of the best lesson I ever had.

Thank you, all the people in the past, the people who just passed in my life, the people who came but never meant to stay, the people who leave scars on me, the people who leave a bright memory in me. All of you made me understand many kinds of people. And for sure It helped me grow stronger.

Thank you all the people on every journey especially my current journey, you made me believe that I still go further when I was thinking to just stop all things. You made me realize that “God’s gift” is not something that disappeared just like that. It grew stronger even when we thought it lost. You made me realize that I can still meet people, and it will be just fine. And for sure, you made me believe that I still can do it this mission.

Thank you to blank paper and a pen, you made me realize that I can write. To Note apps on iPhone too, you made me start to write every day which helps me heal a lot. Thank you Evernote apps, You save all my writing in a wonderful organizer.

Thank you life, for letting me experience many kinds of things, the good and the bad, to make me wiser in life. Indeed, Life is the greatest journey you will be on.

Just like people always save the best in the end, so do I.

Thank you, my wonderful and unpredictable God, Jesus Christ, who created me and put me in the thing called life so I can see how awesome You are. You are everything to me. The one who always listened to my cry and wish. You made my life awesome, exciting and incredible journey ever. And also, You the one who has a great sense of humor.

And for you who read this post and this whole blog, thank you so much, You’re terrific!
