When In Doubt, Remember, Someone Is Loving You!
“Hi,” I approached a girl who stood alone in the crowded
“Hi,” She replied
“You are the one who sits next to me, right?”
“Yes” She answered with a smile 🙂
“God asked me to tell you that He does love you“. My heart was beating way faster than normal when I said it.
“…” Her eyes grew bigger like she never expected those words to come from a stranger who ran into her while ago.
“It might sound weird to you actually to me as well since this is the first time in the last nine months God told me to do this kind of thing again, just minutes before I was trying to ignore and I definitely didn’t want to do it, I was also so scared, but I just couldn’t help myself and yes, God wants me to tell you that He does love you” words came out from my mouth were unstoppable
“Thank you… Thank you so much… that has meant a lot to me,” she finally responded, “What is your name?”
“I’m Gosh,” I answered, I think that was the fastest I have ever replied.
“Can I give you a hug?” Surprised by the request coming from her mouth.
“Sure”
And we hugged each other as I repeated the message that I have told her before while we hugged “God loves you so much, He does love you, Don’t worry too much”
“Thank you, then I’d like to meet you again”
“Sure”
We exchanged numbers after a short conversation and ended with a hug before I left her with her friend who had just arrived.
It might sound weird, but that had happened in the real-life, in my life (for sure) maybe in your life as well.
I cannot remember when, but there were times when I got a voice or something moved my heart to talk to people (stranger people, mostly), just saying something that maybe for some people those words aren’t a big thing. Mostly when I told the message to them, some would be shocked, crying or even just speechless and we would end just like a stranger or becomes close as a best friend does.
For over nine months I never do it again. So yes! This felt like the first time, I felt very nervous, my heart was beating faster than normal I even forgot how it felt back then. Afraid? Yes, I was really afraid. I even ran to the toilet and kept saying to myself “If I meet her, I’ll say it” but in heart, I wished I wouldn’t meet her again. But who’s the one who could beat God, if He already asked you to do something, He makes sure that you can do it. And I did.
If you ask me how it feels, it feels awesome. When you say those words, it feels like you say it to yourself as well. So it was right about, “when you encourage people, you encourage yourself, when you discourage people, you discourage yourself”.
Spreading love is not a difficult thing to do wherever we are. With simple words. Simple words that mean a lot, that rarely is saying. Simple words that could heal a wound, that easily encourage people.
Love, yes L-O-V-E! Words that cover all that LOVE means.
Willing to give it a try?
And, oh, by the way, in case no one told you yet today— You are terrific! And for sure, God loves you so much.
